N-linked heterosaccharide is 17 % of molecular weight of the protein. Composition of the hexasaccharide (1061.83 Da) is α-D-3-O-MetManp-(1→6)-α-D-3-O-MetManp-[(1→2)-α-D-Manp]3-(1→4)-D-GalNAc.
3-O-methylglucose, N-acetylglucosamine, and galactose are also found in lesser amounts. 3-O-methylmannose could be partly replaced by 3-O-methylglucose.
3-O-methylmannose and 3-O-methylglucose are present in the intact glycoprotein in a molar ratio of 7:1.
