Function
It functions as an endoxylanase (EC 3.2.1.8) preferentially cleaving long-chain, water-insoluble oligoxylosides. Sequential action of xylanases B and A leads to efficient hydrolysis of xylan producing xylotriose, xylobiose and xylose.
