Glycosylation Status
Technique(s) used for Glycosylation DetectionDIG (digoxigenin) glycan detection using using anti-DIG antibody
Glycan Information
Glycan Annotation Galactose and mannose are the constituents of the oligosaccharide that were identified by GCMS.
Protein Glycosylation linked (PGL) gene(s)

Additional CommentRpf2 is the first example of a glycoprotein in C. glutamicum.
Protein mannosyltransferase, pmt gene (cg1014) has been shown to glycosylate secreted proteins including Rpf2 by gene deletion studies. This gene has also been found to possess significant similarity to eukaryotic PMTs and an orthologue of M. tuberculosis, Rv1002c.
